Florida Statute 509.039
requires certification of all food service managers who are responsible for the storage, preparation, display, or serving foods
to the public. You must have at least one certified manager on duty at all times. Managers have 30 days after their hire date,
to successfully pass the required exam.
Division of Food Safety
Section 5k-4.021, Florida Administrative Code, requires all food establishments including mobile vendors, licensed by the
Department to have a certified manager.

After the workshop the Florida approved
