Students log in to our secure web site and begin reading and learning the same information that is available through classroom instruction. Parents, Children & Divorce's curriculum includes audio and video clips, and interactive exercises.
There is a 4-hour requirement for taking the online course; however, the student does not need to complete the program all at once. A student may log on and off at any time, and the program remembers where the student left off and how much time was spent on each section.
After a student passes the test, he or she may download the required certificate and print it in just a few seconds. The Certificate is to be filed with the Clerk of Court where the petition is or will be filed.
Some Courts/Judicial Circuits do not accept a Certificate of Completion from a class taken on the Internet, so please ask your legal advisor to check with the court or judicial circuit where your divorce was filed to see if the court will accept an online course.
If the court accepts an Internet-based online course, then you may enroll now.
