All about creating A Successful Parenting Plan:
As of 10/1/2008, a
detailed document (parenting plan) is required by law to be
developed and agreed to by both parents, and approved by the
courts. Parents will have the tools necessary to create their own required
parenting plan using these materials.
Overview of Parenting Plans
A parenting plan is a comprehensive document that states how a child will be raised, when the child will
be with each parent, how decisions concerning the child will be made, and financial obligations.
Education Programs can provide the information needed to enable parents to develop a plan
to fit their family’s needs while keeping the "best interest of the children" in focus.
The major categories required in a parenting plan present situations that require careful
